The Dome is one of the grandest conference locations anywhere in Britain. Once a magnificent 18th Century stable block built to house the 5th Duke of Devonshire’s horses and servants, The Dome is now part of the University of Derby in Buxton and offers a breathtaking backdrop for our event.

Set in the heart of the historic spa town of Buxton, the Dome dominates the skyline. Only minutes walk away from the railway station, and 45 minutes from Manchester Airport, the M1 and M6, Buxton is ideally situated at the heart of England in the beautiful Peak District.While you’re here why not explore more of Georgian Buxton, walk amongst the beautiful hills of The Peak District, marvel at the opulence of Chatsworth House, take a voyage of discovery to the depths of Pooles Cavern or enjoy an evening at Buxton Opera House. All within easy reach of the Devonshire Campus.

NB As part of the weekend it is proposed to have a display of members print work. Members are encouraged to bring up to 2 mounted prints no more than 50cms x 40cm . All prints must have a travel theme and be collected at the end of the weekend.
